Bidvertiser is a FREE ad network you can sign up for and get some ads to place on your website. Bidvertiser isnt as robust as the Google Adsense network but it is a good alternative. If you are a small publisher with limited traffic you might have a hard time getting big ad networks to care about you! In general big ad networks only care about real traffic (thousands of hits a day).

Bidvertiser will work for you if you run a small site with limited traffic. They are not as picky as Google Adsense, nor as robust, but they are a real, viable alternative to Adsense. You wont get rich but people will click, and in time your revenue will start to increase. If you are a small web publisher and would like to start making money off your websites then by all means sign up for Google Adsense but, dont put all your ads in one basket! BE SURE to check out other ad networks.
I use Bidvertiser ads as a secondary ad source. I have found that this works quite well for me. Bidvertiser is great for webmasters like me and maybe you too! At the very least you should check them out and see for yourself.
